Es el futuro, los agentes pat\u00f3genos se volvieron ultra resistentes a los medicamentos y los m\u00e9dicos se ven obligados a entrar al cuerpo humano para defender a sus pacientes<\/em><\/strong>, \u00bfse imaginan? eso es\u00a0Body Defense<\/em>, un videojuego educativo en el que los ni\u00f1os pueden entrar al cuerpo humano para poder ver su funcionamiento, sus mecanismos de defensa, aprendiendo de manera l\u00fadica contenidos de Biolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Body Defense es una iniciativa del estudiante de ingenier\u00eda civil industrial, Ricardo Flores, quien comenta que despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os aprendiendo de este mundo y desarrollando proyectos peque\u00f1o, logra encontrar un equipo multidisciplinario que cree en esta idea tanto como \u00e9l, \u201csomos un grupo de j\u00f3venes profesionales que queremos mejorar la educaci\u00f3n, cada uno desde su \u00e1rea, donde todos queremos aprender de este rubro, gracias a esto el proyecto se ha dado de forma natural y hasta \u00absencilla\u00bb y eso nos dice que vamos por buen camino\u201d<\/strong>. De esta manera Body Defense ense\u00f1a conceptos complejos mediante analog\u00edas y de forma simple, utiliza la gamificaci\u00f3n como una herramienta \u00fatil no s\u00f3lo para ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os, pretende cambiar la forma de ense\u00f1ar y generar la sensaci\u00f3n de que el cuerpo\u00a0humano puede ser la nueva sala de clases.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00bfA qui\u00e9nes est\u00e1 dirigido?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A alumnos de entre 5\u00b0 B\u00e1sico y 4\u00b0 Medio, pero el videojuego fue creado para ser usado como herramienta pedag\u00f3gica por lo tanto, puede ser usado por colegios y profesores para complementar sus clases. Cuenta como los agentes pat\u00f3genos se volvieron ultra resistentes a los medicamentos y la medicina se ve obligada a entrar al cuerpo humano para defender a sus pacientes, la idea del videojuegos es que los ni\u00f1os puedan entrar al cuerpo humano para poder ver con sus propios ojos c\u00f3mo funciona el cuerpo humano, sus mecanismos de defensa y que puedan aprender gran parte de los contenidos de biolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 etapa de desarrollo est\u00e1?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El videojuego est\u00e1 en fase Alpha, eso significa que los principales comportamientos y aspectos generales del juego est\u00e1n listos, pero a\u00fan falta desarrollar detalles y aspectos m\u00e1s complejos. Por suerte lo hemos validado con muchos colegios y jugadores y el proyecto les ha encantado; sin embargo, ha sido complejo avanzar en el desarrollo del producto hasta un Producto M\u00ednimo Viable, PMV, debido a que tenemos recursos limitados, pero esperamos tener para fin de a\u00f1o listo el PMV.<\/p>\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la importancia de Body Defense?<\/p>\n

Body Defense es de esos proyectos que buscan cambiar paradigmas de la industria, normalmente los videojuegos educativos est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para ense\u00f1ar cosas muy b\u00e1sicas a un p\u00fablico muy joven (entre 4 y 10 a\u00f1os), en cambio Body Defense apunta a un p\u00fablico m\u00e1s grande (12 a 18 a\u00f1os) e intenta ense\u00f1ar conceptos complejos, obviamente mediante analog\u00edas y de forma simple. Es importante considerar que entregar nuevas herramientas a profesores y colegios les permitir\u00e1 generar ambientes din\u00e1micos, mantener la motivaci\u00f3n, concentraci\u00f3n y sobre todo revivir el amor por las materias m\u00e1s complejas que por momentos se vuelven abstractas y dif\u00edciles de comprender pero que en verdad son algo s\u00faper tangible, no es lo mismo estudiar el proceso de replicaci\u00f3n del ADN que verlo, o aprenderte una tabla de defensas del cuerpo humano y sus funciones a utilizarlas t\u00fa mismo.<\/p>\n

Lo que busca el proyecto es cambiar paradigmas dentro de la industria de los videojuegos y de la educaci\u00f3n y hacer que los alumnos descubran una nueva forma en la que amen aprender.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00bfExisten otras iniciativas como Body Defense?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Existen videojuegos educativos interesantes, pero muchos pierden potencial, porque las mec\u00e1nicas y din\u00e1micas se vuelven mon\u00f3tonas para los usuarios. Hay juegos de matem\u00e1ticas muy divertidos y de historia realmente fascinantes, pero si no logras cautivar a tus usuarios, no logras tu cometido. En lo personal creo que la industria de los videojuegos educativos es una industria importante, que necesitamos potenciar, salir un poco de los t\u00edpicos juegos de quizz e iniciar propuestas m\u00e1s innovadoras.<\/p>\n
